About Our Sewer Services in Bee Cave

Sewer issues don't care how new or well-appointed your home is. Even in Bee Cave's newer construction neighborhoods, sewer lines can develop root intrusion, improper grading, or joint failures that cause backups and slow drains. Cold is on the Right uses advanced camera inspection technology and hydro jetting to find the root cause fast and recommend a solution that actually makes sense for your home and budget.

We understand that Bee Cave homeowners value quality work and clear communication. That means no vague estimates, no surprise charges at the end of the job, and no unnecessary upsells. You get an honest assessment, upfront pricing, and a licensed plumber who treats your home with the same care you do. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every call in this community.

Sewer Services We Provide in Bee Cave

Sewer Line Repair

Cracked, shifted, or partially blocked sewer lines are more common in Bee Cave than many homeowners expect, even in newer homes where settling soil or tree root intrusion can cause damage within the first decade. Our plumbers use camera inspections to pinpoint the exact location and scope of the problem before any digging begins. Targeted repairs restore proper flow and protect your landscaping and foundation.

Sewer Line Replacement

When a sewer line is too far gone for repair, full replacement is the smart long-term investment. We install durable pipe materials suited for the Hill Country soil conditions common throughout the Bee Cave area, and we work cleanly and efficiently to minimize disruption to your property. A new sewer line adds peace of mind and real value to your home.

Drain Cleaning

Slow or gurgling drains throughout your home are often the first sign of a developing sewer issue. Our team uses professional-grade equipment to clear blockages completely rather than just pushing them further down the line. Regular drain cleaning is especially valuable in Bee Cave homes where hard water mineral buildup accelerates inside pipes over time.

Learn More

Sewer Camera Inspection

Before recommending any repair or replacement, we send a high-resolution camera through your sewer line to see exactly what's happening inside. This is the most accurate diagnostic tool available, and it saves you money by ensuring we only do the work that's actually needed. Bee Cave homeowners appreciate knowing the facts before approving any scope of work.

Learn More

Hydro Jetting

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to blast through grease, mineral scale, and debris that standard snaking can't remove. It's particularly effective in Bee Cave homes where hard water and organic buildup create stubborn obstructions deep in the line. The result is a thoroughly cleaned pipe interior that restores full flow capacity.

Root Intrusion Removal

The mature oak trees and native landscaping throughout Bee Cave neighborhoods are beautiful, but their roots are relentless when it comes to seeking moisture in sewer lines. We remove existing root intrusion and address the entry points to prevent regrowth from causing recurring blockages. This is one of the most common sewer issues we see in established Bee Cave properties.

Learn More

Leak Detection

A sewer leak underground can cause significant damage before you ever notice a symptom indoors. Our leak detection services use non-invasive technology to locate leaks accurately without tearing up your yard or flooring unnecessarily. Catching a sewer leak early is one of the best ways to protect both your home's structure and your property's value.

Sewer Line Cleaning and Maintenance

Proactive maintenance is a smart strategy for Bee Cave homeowners who want to avoid unexpected sewer failures. Scheduled sewer line cleaning removes buildup before it becomes a blockage, and routine inspections catch small issues before they grow into expensive repairs. Think of it as protecting your investment in one of the area's most desirable communities.

Learn More

Sewer Repair After Construction Damage

Active construction throughout the Bee Cave and Lakeway corridor means underground utility lines sometimes get nicked or shifted during nearby excavation work. If you've noticed new drain problems following construction activity near your property, a camera inspection can quickly confirm whether your sewer line was affected. We handle repairs cleanly and document everything for any necessary insurance or contractor claims.

Full Plumbing System Evaluation

If your Bee Cave home is showing multiple plumbing symptoms at once, a comprehensive system evaluation gives you a complete picture of what's happening throughout your pipes. Our licensed plumbers assess your sewer line, drains, water supply lines, and connections to identify any vulnerabilities before they become urgent problems. It's the kind of thorough, professional approach Bee Cave homeowners expect.

We Know Bee Cave Homes

Bee Cave is one of the fastest-growing communities in the Austin area, and most of the housing stock reflects that with newer construction built over the last 15 to 20 years. What that means plumbing-wise is that many systems are technically modern but are now reaching the age where first-generation failures start to appear, including PVC joint issues, root intrusion in newly matured landscaping, and grading problems that weren't obvious during the original build. We've worked in enough Bee Cave neighborhoods to recognize these patterns quickly.

The Hill Country terrain around Lake Travis also plays a real role in how underground plumbing behaves here. Expansive clay soils, rocky substrates, and slope variations across many lots create conditions where sewer lines can shift or separate in ways that flat-terrain plumbers might not anticipate. Cold is on the Right technicians are familiar with what's underground in this part of Travis County, and that familiarity means faster, more accurate diagnoses and repairs that hold up long term.

We contacted Cold is on the Right today with an urgent plumbing need. Their very professional and organized crew arrived within 30 minutes and fixed our issue. We called five other plumbing companies before them and no one was able to help us. Cold is on the Right will now be the first plumbers we call.

We called due to slow drainage and apparently main line backing up into master bathroom shower and sink. There is an automated line that takes your information and apparently works very well. Plumbers Billy and Jeremy showed up promptly after we were informed they were being dispatched this morning, they stayed and worked until the problem was solved and advised on possible future repairs that would need to be done. They were professional, smart, respectful of our home, and efficient in their actions. Let us know what things would cost and were honest in their assessment of what would be needed next and how (un) likely our homeowners insurance would be able to help.  I appreciate the service and the fair treatment by these gentlemen. Thank you.

Santiago and Kyle were amazing during our total HVAC system replacement. Kind, informative, knowledgeable and careful to ensure a smooth install. They were efficient and got my AC working before my family arrived for spring break. Now enjoying the cool air with family. Great pricing and quick turn around from quote to finished job. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing HVCA or plumbing work.

These guys are prompt and very polite, and explain your options well without trying to upsell. We thought we needed three things replaced, but they showed us that one of the three just needed an adjustment rather than a replacement. Wonderful service!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does sewer line repair cost in Bee Cave?
Sewer line repair costs in Bee Cave typically range from $500 to $3,000 depending on the type of damage, the depth of the line, and how much access is required. Spot repairs on a cleanly accessible section of pipe are on the lower end, while repairs involving rocky Hill Country soil or significant excavation can run higher. Full sewer line replacements average between $4,000 and $12,000 for most residential properties, with larger lots or complex routing affecting the final price. We provide upfront pricing after a camera inspection so you know exactly what the job involves before approving any work.
How do I know if my sewer line is damaged or just clogged?
A clog typically affects one drain or fixture, while a damaged sewer line usually causes problems across multiple drains at the same time. If you're seeing slow drains throughout the house, gurgling toilets, or sewage smells coming from more than one area, that points toward a line issue rather than a simple blockage. Soggy spots in your yard or cracks in your foundation near the sewer path are also red flags. The most reliable way to tell the difference is a camera inspection, which lets us see exactly what's happening inside the pipe and distinguish between a buildup and a structural failure.
Do newer homes in Bee Cave have sewer problems?
Yes, newer homes can and do develop sewer issues, even within the first 10 to 15 years. In Bee Cave specifically, we frequently see root intrusion from maturing landscaping, joint separations caused by soil movement on sloped Hill Country lots, and grading problems that cause slow drainage over time. PVC pipe systems in newer construction are durable but not immune to these issues. The good news is that catching problems early through a camera inspection usually means a less invasive and less expensive fix than waiting until a full backup occurs.
How long does a sewer line replacement take in Bee Cave?
Most residential sewer line replacements in Bee Cave can be completed in one to two days depending on the length of the line, the depth of the trench required, and any complications from rocky soil or existing landscaping. We'll give you a realistic timeline estimate before work begins so you can plan accordingly. In most cases your home's plumbing is fully functional again by the end of the job day. We work efficiently and clean up after ourselves, which matters in well-maintained Bee Cave properties.
What is hydro jetting and do I need it for my Bee Cave home?
Hydro jetting uses a high-pressure water stream to scour the interior walls of your sewer and drain pipes, removing grease, mineral scale, and organic buildup that a standard drain snake can't fully clear. It's particularly useful in Bee Cave because the area's hard water accelerates scale buildup inside pipes over time. If you're dealing with recurring slow drains or a line that clogs repeatedly despite cleaning, hydro jetting is often the most effective and longest-lasting solution. It's also a great preventive measure for homeowners who want to maintain their system before problems develop.
Is a sewer camera inspection worth it before buying a home in Bee Cave?
Absolutely, and we strongly recommend it. A sewer camera inspection before closing gives you an honest look at the condition of one of the most expensive systems in the home. In Bee Cave, where many homes are 10 to 20 years old, it's not uncommon to find root intrusion, partially collapsed sections, or previous repairs that weren't disclosed. The inspection typically costs between $150 and $350 and can save you thousands in unexpected repairs after move-in. If issues are found, you also have documentation to negotiate repairs or credits with the seller before closing.
