Our licensed plumbers arrive prepared to handle the unexpected, whether that's a burst pipe flooding a finished basement, a tankless water heater that's gone offline, or a sewer line backing up during a weekend gathering. Emergency Plumbing Services We Provide in Bee Cave

Burst and Leaking Pipe Repair

A pressurized pipe failure in a Bee Cave home can soak hardwood floors, drywall, and custom cabinetry within minutes. Our emergency plumbers locate the break quickly, shut off the water supply, and complete a lasting repair before damage spreads. We work carefully around high-end finishes to minimize disruption wherever possible.

Clogged and Backed-Up Drains

Slow or completely blocked drains are one of the most common plumbing calls we get in Bee Cave, especially in homes with multiple bathrooms and busy households. We use professional-grade equipment to clear blockages quickly and thoroughly, addressing the root cause rather than just pushing the problem further down the line.

Learn More

Slab Leak Detection and Repair

Many Bee Cave homes are built on slab foundations, and a leak beneath that slab can go undetected for weeks while quietly damaging your flooring, framing, and foundation. Our technicians use non-invasive detection equipment to pinpoint the leak's exact location before any concrete is touched, protecting both your home's structure and its finishes.

Learn More

Water Heater Repair and Replacement

Tankless water heaters are common in newer Bee Cave homes and require a different approach than traditional tank systems when they fail. Whether your unit is flashing an error code, producing inconsistent temperatures, or has shut down completely, our plumbers diagnose the issue fast and carry parts for the most common tankless and tank-style units.

Learn More

Leak Detection

Not every leak announces itself with visible water. Hidden leaks inside walls, under flooring, or behind tile can cause significant structural and cosmetic damage in a Bee Cave home before you ever notice a wet spot. We use electronic and acoustic detection tools to find the source without unnecessary demolition, so repairs stay targeted and costs stay manageable.

Sewer Line Emergencies

A sewer line backup is one of the most disruptive plumbing emergencies a homeowner can face, and Bee Cave's Hill Country terrain can make sewer lines vulnerable to root intrusion and shifting soil. We respond quickly to diagnose the blockage or damage and get your system flowing again, with camera inspection available to show you exactly what we're dealing with.

Learn More

Overflowing Toilet Repair

An overflowing toilet needs immediate attention to prevent water from reaching flooring, subfloor, and adjacent rooms. Our plumbers identify whether the issue is a simple clog, a failing float mechanism, or a deeper drain line problem, and resolve it quickly so your home stays clean and sanitary.

Garbage Disposal Repair

Modern Bee Cave kitchens often feature high-capacity garbage disposals, and a failed unit can bring your kitchen to a standstill. We handle emergency disposal repairs and replacements fast, including units connected to two-sink configurations or custom plumbing setups common in larger homes.

Shutoff Valve and Supply Line Failures

Supply line failures under sinks, behind toilets, or at appliance connections can release a surprising amount of water in a short time. Our technicians replace faulty valves and lines with quality components and verify pressure throughout the affected zone before leaving your home.

Water Pressure Problems

Sudden drops in water pressure can signal anything from a failing pressure regulator to a hidden pipe leak or a municipal supply issue. In Bee Cave, where homes often sit at varied elevations and some rely on private well systems, pressure problems deserve a thorough diagnosis rather than a quick guess.

Emergency Plumbing Inspections After Events

After a hard freeze, a flooding event, or a major appliance failure, it makes sense to have a licensed plumber inspect your system before damage compounds. We provide post-event assessments for Bee Cave homeowners who want certainty that everything is intact and functioning properly.

We Know Bee Cave Homes

Most of Bee Cave's residential development has happened in the last 15 to 20 years, which means a lot of the homes here were built during a period when tankless water heaters, multi-zone plumbing, and high-end fixture packages became standard. That newer construction comes with its own set of failure patterns: pressure regulators that wear out sooner than expected, PEX supply lines that can loosen at fittings over time, and water softener systems that need attention in this hard-water region of the Hill Country.

We've worked extensively throughout the Bee Cave area, including neighborhoods near Lake Travis where homes sit on varied terrain and some properties rely on private well systems with their own pressure and filtration demands. That field experience means we're not guessing when we arrive at your door — we know what to look for, we bring the right parts, and we work with the care that a home like yours deserves.

Graysen and Andrew from Cold is on the Right came out just a couple hours after I called and took care of cutting out my kitchen faucet. They were professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable, explaining everything in a straightforward way without any upselling or confusion. We contacted Cold is on the Right today with an urgent plumbing need. Their very professional and organized crew arrived within 30 minutes and fixed our issue. We called five other plumbing companies before them and no one was able to help us. Cold is on the Right will now be the first plumbers we call.

We called due to slow drainage and apparently main line backing up into master bathroom shower and sink. There is an automated line that takes your information and apparently works very well. Plumbers Billy and Jeremy showed up promptly after we were informed they were being dispatched this morning, they stayed and worked until the problem was solved and advised on possible future repairs that would need to be done. They were professional, smart, respectful of our home, and efficient in their actions. Let us know what things would cost and were honest in their assessment of what would be needed next and how (un) likely our homeowners insurance would be able to help.  I appreciate the service and the fair treatment by these gentlemen. Thank you.

Santiago and Kyle were amazing during our total HVAC system replacement. Kind, informative, knowledgeable and careful to ensure a smooth install. They were efficient and got my AC working before my family arrived for spring break. Now enjoying the cool air with family. Great pricing and quick turn around from quote to finished job. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing HVCA or plumbing work.

These guys are prompt and very polite, and explain your options well without trying to upsell. We thought we needed three things replaced, but they showed us that one of the three just needed an adjustment rather than a replacement. Wonderful service!

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can you respond to a plumbing emergency in Bee Cave?
We aim to respond as quickly as possible to emergency calls in Bee Cave and the surrounding Lake Travis area. Response times vary depending on time of day and current call volume, but we prioritize true emergencies like burst pipes, active flooding, and sewer backups. When you call, we'll give you an honest estimate of when our plumber will arrive and walk you through any immediate steps you can take to minimize damage in the meantime.
Do you work on tankless water heaters in Bee Cave homes?
Yes, tankless water heaters are very common in Bee Cave's newer homes, and our plumbers are experienced with the major brands and configurations you'll find here. Common issues include error codes triggered by hard water buildup on the heat exchanger, ignition failures, and flow sensor problems. Repairs typically run between $150 and $500 depending on the issue, while full unit replacements range from $1,000 to $2,500 installed. We'll diagnose the problem and give you a clear price before any work begins.
What should I do if a pipe bursts in my Bee Cave home?
First, locate your main water shutoff valve and turn off the water supply to the house — this is the single most important step to limiting damage. Then, contact us right away. If water has reached the flooring, walls, or cabinetry, try to move valuables and document the damage with photos for insurance purposes. Do not attempt to use any electrical outlets or switches near standing water. Our plumber will arrive prepared to make the repair and assess whether any additional work is needed to restore your system safely.
Is it common to have slab leaks in Bee Cave homes?
Slab leaks do occur in Bee Cave, and many homes in the area are built on slab foundations that can be vulnerable to ground movement and water pressure changes. Warning signs include warm spots on the floor, the sound of running water when everything is off, unexplained increases in your water bill, and cracks appearing in flooring or baseboards. Because catching a slab leak early saves significant money on both water costs and structural repairs, we recommend calling for a professional inspection if you notice any of these signs. Detection alone typically runs $200 to $400, and repair costs depend on the location and method used.
Does hard water in Bee Cave affect my plumbing?
It does, and it's one of the more consistent issues we see across the Bee Cave and Lake Travis area. The water here comes with a high mineral content that builds up inside pipes, water heaters, and tankless units over time, reducing efficiency and eventually causing failures. Homeowners with water softeners need to keep those systems properly maintained to get the intended protection. If you notice reduced water pressure, longer water heating times, or buildup around fixtures, it's worth having your system evaluated. A descaling service for a tankless water heater typically runs $100 to $200 and can significantly extend the unit's lifespan.
Are your emergency plumbing prices higher than regular service calls?
Emergency calls do sometimes carry an after-hours or priority response fee, and we'll be upfront about that when you call. What won't change is our commitment to transparent, upfront pricing — you'll know exactly what the repair will cost before we start any work. We don't use emergencies as an opportunity to inflate estimates, and we don't charge for services you don't need. For most standard emergency repairs in Bee Cave, total costs range from $150 for a simple fix to $1,500 or more for more complex issues like slab leaks or major pipe failures.
