About Our Sewer Services in Cedar Park

Cedar Park's rapid growth means the city has an unusually wide range of home ages sitting side by side. Newer subdivisions built within the last decade often come with PVC sewer lines that are generally in good shape, but can still suffer from improper grading, root intrusion from fast-growing landscaping, or builder-grade materials that underperform over time. Meanwhile, homes built in the early 2000s or late 1990s are now old enough to start showing wear, with sewer lines that may be developing cracks, offsets, or persistent buildup that simple drain cleaning won't fix.

At Cold is on the Right, we use camera inspection technology to see exactly what's happening inside your sewer line before recommending any repairs. That means no guesswork, no upselling work you don't need, and no surprises on your bill. From a stubborn clog to a full sewer line replacement, we give Cedar Park homeowners straightforward answers and reliable service every time we show up.

Sewer Services We Provide in Cedar Park

Sewer Line Repair

Cracked, offset, or partially blocked sewer lines are common in Cedar Park neighborhoods that are 10 to 20 years old, as pipes settle and tree roots begin to intrude. Our plumbers use camera inspections to locate the exact problem and make targeted repairs that restore proper flow without tearing up your yard unnecessarily. Getting this right the first time saves you from repeat service calls and escalating damage.

Sewer Line Replacement

When a Cedar Park sewer line has deteriorated beyond repair — whether from age, root damage, or repeated failures — full replacement is often the most cost-effective path forward. We install durable, long-lasting pipe materials sized correctly for your home's needs. A new sewer line protects your property value and gives you decades of trouble-free performance.

Drain Cleaning

Slow drains throughout your home often signal a buildup deeper in the sewer line, not just a surface clog at the fixture. Cedar Park homes, especially those with maturing trees in the yard, can experience root intrusion and grease accumulation that clogs the main line over time. Our professional drain cleaning clears blockages completely and helps prevent them from coming back.

Sewer Camera Inspection

Before recommending any repair or replacement, we run a camera through your sewer line to see exactly what's going on. This is especially valuable for Cedar Park homebuyers or homeowners who've been dealing with recurring issues that no one has been able to permanently fix. A camera inspection takes the guesswork out of sewer diagnostics and keeps your repair costs targeted and honest.

Hydro Jetting

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to blast through stubborn grease, mineral scale, and root intrusion that standard snaking leaves behind. For Cedar Park homes on the older end of the spectrum, this is often the most effective way to restore full flow to a main sewer line without resorting to excavation. It's a thorough clean that most other methods simply can't match.

Root Intrusion Removal

The established trees and landscaping in older Cedar Park neighborhoods are beautiful, but their roots are relentless at finding and working their way into sewer line joints. Left unchecked, root intrusion causes cracks, blockages, and eventually total line failure. We remove existing root growth and can treat the line to slow future intrusion, buying your sewer system significantly more life.

Emergency Sewer Services

A sewage backup or broken sewer line isn't something you can schedule around. When you're dealing with wastewater coming up through floor drains or a foul-smelling yard, you need a team that responds fast. Cold is on the Right offers emergency sewer service to Cedar Park homeowners so you're not left waiting when the situation is urgent.

Leak Detection

Sewer leaks don't always announce themselves with an obvious backup — sometimes the signs are subtle, like soft spots in the yard, unexplained odors, or a spike in your water bill. Our leak detection services use non-invasive technology to find where your system is losing water or sewage before the damage spreads. For Cedar Park homeowners, catching a leak early can mean the difference between a minor repair and a major excavation job.

Sewer Line Locating and Mapping

Many Cedar Park homeowners have no idea exactly where their sewer line runs beneath their property, which creates real problems when something goes wrong or when planning landscaping, additions, or fencing. We locate and map your sewer line so you have that information on hand. It's a simple step that prevents accidental damage and makes any future service call faster and less disruptive.

Trenchless Sewer Repair

When possible, we use trenchless methods to repair or reline damaged sewer pipes without digging up your lawn, driveway, or landscaping. This is a major advantage for Cedar Park homeowners who have invested in their yards or have concrete hardscape over the sewer line path. Trenchless repair is faster, less disruptive, and often more affordable than traditional open-cut excavation.

Plumbing Repairs

Sewer issues often point to underlying plumbing problems elsewhere in the system, from failing pipe connections to deteriorating fixtures that are putting extra stress on your sewer line. Our licensed plumbers handle the full picture, not just the symptom you called about. Addressing related plumbing repairs at the same time means fewer service calls and a healthier system overall.

We Know Cedar Park Homes

Cedar Park is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, and that growth has produced a patchwork of housing stock that keeps our plumbers on their toes. The newer subdivisions near Lakeline Boulevard or along the 183A corridor often have PVC sewer systems, but those homes are now old enough that we're regularly seeing root intrusion from maturing landscaping and settlement issues where lines weren't graded properly during original construction. In the older, more established parts of Cedar Park — neighborhoods that were built out in the late 1990s and early 2000s — we see aging pipe connections that are starting to fail, and homeowners who are just now encountering their first serious sewer problem after a decade-plus of no issues.

Cedar Park's clay-heavy soils and the region's occasional heavy rainfall events can shift the ground around sewer lines in ways that accelerate wear on older pipe joints. We've worked enough jobs throughout this city that we know where the common trouble spots are, what to look for in different neighborhoods, and how to give Cedar Park homeowners straight answers without unnecessary upsells. When you call Cold is on the Right, you're getting a team that has seen what this community's homes are actually dealing with, not a crew running the same playbook they'd use anywhere else.

We contacted Cold is on the Right today with an urgent plumbing need. Their very professional and organized crew arrived within 30 minutes and fixed our issue. We called five other plumbing companies before them and no one was able to help us. Cold is on the Right will now be the first plumbers we call.

We called due to slow drainage and apparently main line backing up into master bathroom shower and sink. There is an automated line that takes your information and apparently works very well. Plumbers Billy and Jeremy showed up promptly after we were informed they were being dispatched this morning, they stayed and worked until the problem was solved and advised on possible future repairs that would need to be done. They were professional, smart, respectful of our home, and efficient in their actions. Let us know what things would cost and were honest in their assessment of what would be needed next and how (un) likely our homeowners insurance would be able to help.  I appreciate the service and the fair treatment by these gentlemen. Thank you.

Santiago and Kyle were amazing during our total HVAC system replacement. Kind, informative, knowledgeable and careful to ensure a smooth install. They were efficient and got my AC working before my family arrived for spring break. Now enjoying the cool air with family. Great pricing and quick turn around from quote to finished job. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing HVCA or plumbing work.

These guys are prompt and very polite, and explain your options well without trying to upsell. We thought we needed three things replaced, but they showed us that one of the three just needed an adjustment rather than a replacement. Wonderful service!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I have a sewer line problem or just a clogged drain?
The key difference is scope. A clogged drain affects one fixture, so your kitchen sink backs up but your toilets and showers are fine. A sewer line problem usually shows up in multiple fixtures at once — slow drains throughout the house, gurgling toilets when you run the washing machine, or sewage odors that seem to come from everywhere. If you're seeing issues in more than one area of your home, the problem is likely in the main sewer line rather than a single drain branch. A camera inspection is the fastest way to confirm what's going on and find the exact location of the issue.
How much does sewer line repair cost in Cedar Park?
Costs vary quite a bit depending on what the problem actually is. A hydro jetting service to clear a blocked main line typically runs in the range of a few hundred dollars. Targeted spot repairs to a cracked or offset section of pipe can run from around $500 to $2,000 or more depending on depth and access. A full sewer line replacement in Cedar Park generally falls in the $4,000 to $12,000 range, though trenchless methods can sometimes bring that cost down by reducing excavation. We always provide upfront pricing after a camera inspection so you know exactly what you're looking at before any work begins.
How long does a sewer line replacement take in Cedar Park?
Most residential sewer line replacements in Cedar Park can be completed in one to two days once the inspection and planning are done. Trenchless replacements tend to go faster since there's less excavation involved. Traditional open-cut replacement takes longer if the line runs under a driveway, concrete, or deep landscaping. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the estimate process so you can plan accordingly. In most cases, you'll have a fully functioning sewer system restored by the end of the job.
Can tree roots really damage my sewer line in Cedar Park?
Yes, and it's one of the most common sewer issues we see in Cedar Park's more established neighborhoods. As the city has matured, so have the trees in yards and along easements, and their roots are drawn to the moisture around sewer pipe joints. Older pipes with rubber gasket connections are especially vulnerable because roots can slip through tiny gaps and then expand as they grow. Over time this causes cracks, partial blockages, and eventually pipe collapse if left untreated. Regular camera inspections every few years are the best way to catch root intrusion early, before it causes serious structural damage.
Should I get a sewer inspection before buying a home in Cedar Park?
Absolutely, and it's one of the most overlooked parts of a home inspection. Standard home inspectors do not evaluate the sewer line, so you could be buying a property with a cracked, root-infested, or offset sewer line and have no idea until a backup or yard collapse happens after closing. In Cedar Park, where you have a wide range of home ages, this matters a lot. A sewer camera inspection before purchase typically costs a few hundred dollars and can reveal thousands of dollars in potential repair needs. It gives you negotiating leverage or at minimum the information you need to make an informed decision.
