About Our Plumbing Repair Services in Cedar Park

Cedar Park has grown faster than almost any suburb in the Austin metro, and that growth means you've got everything from brand-new construction homes to houses built in the early 2000s all sitting in the same zip code. Newer homes can have their own quirks — rushed construction, builder-grade fixtures, and systems that haven't had proper maintenance since day one. Older Cedar Park homes, meanwhile, are hitting the age where original plumbing components start showing wear. Our licensed plumbers know how to work with both, and everything in between.

Cold is on the Right Plumbing & Air serves Cedar Park homeowners with transparent, upfront pricing and no hidden service fees. We handle everything from leaky pipes and low water pressure to full sewer line issues, and we treat every job with the same care whether it's a quick repair or a bigger project. Families in Cedar Park need their plumbing to work reliably — we're here to make sure it does.

Plumbing Repairs We Provide in Cedar Park

Leak Detection and Pipe Repair

Hidden leaks are one of the most common issues we find in Cedar Park homes, especially in houses that are 10 to 20 years old and starting to show wear on original pipe connections. We use specialized equipment to locate leaks behind walls and under slabs without unnecessary destruction. Once we find it, we fix it fast to protect your home and stop wasted water.

Slab Leak Detection and Repair

Cedar Park sits on a mix of soil types that can shift with seasonal drought and rain cycles, putting stress on the pipes running beneath your home's foundation. Slab leaks can go unnoticed for weeks, quietly driving up your water bill and saturating the ground under your slab. If you notice warm spots on your floor, unexplained moisture, or a water bill that keeps climbing, call us to get it checked out.

Drain Cleaning

With high family density across Cedar Park neighborhoods, household drains take a serious beating — kitchen grease, hair, and soap buildup add up quickly in busy homes. Slow drains and recurring clogs are a sign that buildup has reached the point where a good cleaning is overdue. Our team clears blockages thoroughly so your drains run the way they should.

Water Heater Repair

Many Cedar Park homes are reaching the age where their original water heaters are due for attention — units installed during the early 2000s construction boom are now 15 to 20 years old and showing signs of wear. If you're getting inconsistent hot water, hearing rumbling from the tank, or noticing rust-colored water, it's time to have it looked at. We repair and replace water heaters quickly so your household doesn't go cold.

Emergency Plumbing

A burst pipe or sewer backup doesn't wait for business hours, and in a neighborhood full of families, a plumbing emergency can impact the whole household fast. Cold is on the Right Plumbing & Air offers emergency plumbing service in Cedar Park when you need someone there now. We'll respond quickly and work to minimize damage from the moment we arrive.

Learn More

Whole House Repiping

Some Cedar Park homes built in the late 1990s and early 2000s used plumbing materials that have aged poorly under the demands of hard Central Texas water. If you're dealing with frequent leaks, low water pressure throughout the house, or discolored water, the problem may be systemic rather than isolated. Whole house repiping replaces aging infrastructure with durable modern materials built to last for decades.

Learn More

Sewer Line Replacement

Older sewer lines in established Cedar Park neighborhoods can develop root intrusion, bellying, or corrosion that causes slow drains and backups throughout the home. In newer developments, improper grading or settling can cause issues sooner than you'd expect. We diagnose sewer line problems accurately and replace damaged lines with minimal disruption to your yard and daily routine.

Learn More

Garbage Disposal Services

With so many families in Cedar Park putting their kitchen disposals through heavy daily use, jams, leaks, and motor failures are common service calls we handle regularly. Whether your disposal is humming but not spinning, leaking at the base, or just completely dead, we can repair or replace it quickly. We'll make sure the new or repaired unit is properly installed and sealed so it holds up to daily use.

Learn More

Gas Line Installation and Repair

Many Cedar Park homeowners are upgrading to gas appliances or adding outdoor kitchens and fire pits, and that means new gas line work is in demand across the area. Gas line work requires a licensed plumber and needs to be done correctly the first time — there's no room for shortcuts. We handle gas line installation and repairs safely and to code.

Learn More

Toilet Repair and Replacement

Running toilets, weak flushes, and phantom fills are some of the most water-wasting problems a Cedar Park household can have — and they're often ignored until the water bill arrives. Toilets in homes built 15 or more years ago may have worn internal components that are long overdue for replacement. We repair what can be fixed and replace what can't, leaving you with a toilet that flushes clean and doesn't run between uses.

Faucet and Fixture Repairs

Dripping faucets and failing fixture connections are small problems that add up over time, especially in high-use family homes where faucets get worked hard every day. Hard water in the Cedar Park area accelerates wear on washers, cartridges, and valve seats, leading to leaks that get worse over time. We repair or replace faucets and fixtures quickly with quality parts built to handle Central Texas water conditions.

We Know Cedar Park Homes

Cedar Park has a housing stock that spans more than two decades of construction, and that variety means plumbing needs vary widely from street to street. The neighborhoods off 1431 or near Twin Creeks that went up in the early 2000s are now at the age where original water heaters, shutoff valves, and supply lines are starting to reach the end of their service life. Builder-grade components that seemed fine at move-in are now showing their age, and the hard water that's common across Williamson County has quietly accelerated wear on fixtures and fittings throughout those homes.

In Cedar Park's newer subdivisions, the issues are different but just as real. Fast-paced construction means some systems weren't installed with the same care you'd want, and first-time homeowners in these neighborhoods don't always know what to watch for before a small issue turns into a costly one. We've worked across Cedar Park long enough to recognize the patterns specific to this community, and that local knowledge means we diagnose problems faster and solve them with more confidence than a plumber who's just passing through.

High Fives from Austin Homeowners

Graysen and Andrew from Cold is on the Right came out just a couple hours after I called and took care of cutting out my kitchen faucet. They were professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable, explaining everything in a straightforward way without any upselling or confusion. It was refreshing to get honest answers and excellent service so quickly. I’ll definitely be using them again for future plumbing needs.

We contacted Cold is on the Right today with an urgent plumbing need. Their very professional and organized crew arrived within 30 minutes and fixed our issue. We called five other plumbing companies before them and no one was able to help us. Cold is on the Right will now be the first plumbers we call.

We called due to slow drainage and apparently main line backing up into master bathroom shower and sink. There is an automated line that takes your information and apparently works very well. Plumbers Billy and Jeremy showed up promptly after we were informed they were being dispatched this morning, they stayed and worked until the problem was solved and advised on possible future repairs that would need to be done. They were professional, smart, respectful of our home, and efficient in their actions. Let us know what things would cost and were honest in their assessment of what would be needed next and how (un) likely our homeowners insurance would be able to help.  I appreciate the service and the fair treatment by these gentlemen. Thank you.

Santiago and Kyle were amazing during our total HVAC system replacement. Kind, informative, knowledgeable and careful to ensure a smooth install. They were efficient and got my AC working before my family arrived for spring break. Now enjoying the cool air with family. Great pricing and quick turn around from quote to finished job. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing HVCA or plumbing work.

These guys are prompt and very polite, and explain your options well without trying to upsell. We thought we needed three things replaced, but they showed us that one of the three just needed an adjustment rather than a replacement. Wonderful service!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a plumbing repair typically cost in Cedar Park?
Plumbing repair costs in Cedar Park vary depending on the type and severity of the issue. A basic faucet or toilet repair might run between $150 and $300, while more involved work like slab leak repair or sewer line replacement can range from $1,000 to several thousand dollars. The best way to get an accurate number is to have a licensed plumber inspect the problem, since guessing without seeing the issue often leads to surprises. We provide upfront pricing before any work begins so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
Why is my water pressure low in my Cedar Park home?
Low water pressure in Cedar Park homes can stem from a few different causes depending on the age of the house. In older homes built in the early 2000s, mineral buildup from the area's hard water can restrict flow inside pipes and at fixture aerators over time. It can also indicate a leak somewhere in the system, a failing pressure regulator, or problems at the city supply connection. A plumber can test your pressure at multiple points and trace the cause accurately rather than guessing.
My water bill went up but I haven't changed my usage. What's going on?
An unexplained spike in your water bill is one of the clearest signs of a hidden leak, and in Cedar Park it's often a slab leak or a slow leak behind a wall that you can't see or hear. The water meter test is a good first step: turn off all water in the house and check whether the meter is still moving. If it is, water is going somewhere it shouldn't. Catching this early matters because water migrating under a slab or inside a wall can cause serious structural damage over time if left unaddressed.
How do I know if my Cedar Park home needs repiping or just a pipe repair?
If you're dealing with a single isolated leak or a localized issue, a targeted repair is usually the right call. But if you're seeing recurring leaks in different parts of the house, consistently discolored water, or a significant drop in pressure throughout the whole system, that often points to widespread pipe degradation. Cedar Park homes built in the late 1990s and early 2000s are at an age where some original plumbing materials have reached the end of their lifespan, especially given the hard water conditions in this area. A whole-house inspection can help determine whether repairs will hold or whether repiping makes more long-term sense.
What should I do if I have a plumbing emergency in Cedar Park?
First, locate your main water shutoff and turn it off to stop water from continuing to flow and causing more damage. If the emergency involves a gas line, leave the house and call the gas company before calling a plumber. Once the immediate situation is controlled, call us for emergency plumbing service and we'll get someone to your home as quickly as possible. Do not attempt to repair burst pipes or serious leaks yourself, since improper fixes can make the situation worse and create bigger problems down the line.
