About Our Drain Cleaning in Cedar Park

Cedar Park's growth over the past two decades has produced a wide variety of homes, from established neighborhoods near 1890 Ranch and Twin Creeks to newer subdivisions still popping up along Lakeline Boulevard and beyond. That mix of home ages means we see everything from original cast-iron drain stacks in older builds to builder-grade PVC that gets pushed hard by busy families. Drain cleaning isn't a one-size-fits-all service, and we bring the right tools and approach for whatever your home's plumbing calls for.

Cedar Park's water is notoriously hard, and that mineral content doesn't just affect your water heater. It builds up inside drain lines over time, narrowing pipes and making clogs more frequent and more stubborn. Our team uses professional hydro-jetting and drain snaking to clear blockages completely, not just poke a hole through them. We also identify whether a recurring clog points to a deeper issue in your sewer line before it becomes a much bigger problem.

Drain Cleaning Services We Provide in Cedar Park

Kitchen Drain Cleaning

Kitchen drains in Cedar Park homes take a beating, especially in households with kids and busy weeknight dinners. Grease, food particles, and soap buildup combine inside the pipe and create dense, stubborn clogs that liquid drain cleaners just can't dissolve. We clear kitchen drains thoroughly so water flows freely again without damaging your pipes.

Bathroom Drain Cleaning

Hair, soap scum, and toothpaste residue are the usual culprits in bathroom drains, and they build up faster than most homeowners expect. In Cedar Park's many family homes, bathroom drains get heavy daily use and slow-downs can turn into full blockages quickly. We clean shower, tub, and sink drains completely so your mornings run on schedule.

Hydro-Jetting

For drains with heavy buildup or persistent recurring clogs, hydro-jetting is the most thorough solution available. We send a high-pressure water stream through the pipe that scours the interior walls clean, removing grease, mineral scale, and root intrusion. Given Cedar Park's hard water, hydro-jetting is especially effective at restoring full pipe diameter in older neighborhood homes.

Drain Snake and Auger Service

A professional drain snake goes far beyond anything you can rent from a hardware store, reaching deep into your drain line to break up and retrieve the blockage at its source. We use this method for targeted clogs in single fixtures where a full hydro-jet isn't necessary. It's a precise, fast fix for a backed-up sink or tub that needs same-day relief.

Main Drain Line Cleaning

When multiple fixtures in your home are draining slowly at the same time, the problem is usually in the main drain line rather than an individual pipe. Main line clogs are common in Cedar Park's 10-to-20-year-old homes where years of use have allowed buildup to accumulate deep in the system. We clean the main line from cleanout to connection point so your entire drain system flows properly.

Garbage Disposal Drain Cleaning

Garbage disposals are a source of some of the worst kitchen drain clogs, particularly when fibrous foods, grease, or coffee grounds make their way down the drain side of the unit. The drain line beneath a disposal can pack tight quickly, and a clogged disposal line often smells bad before it backs up completely. We clean the disposal drain line and inspect the unit to make sure everything is working the way it should.

Sewer Line Drain Cleaning

When a clog is deep enough to affect your sewer line, standard drain cleaning tools won't reach it. Cedar Park neighborhoods built in the early 2000s are now at the age where tree root intrusion and pipe joint separation start to become real concerns. We clean and inspect sewer lines to clear the blockage and let you know if any repairs are needed before a messy backup happens in your home.

Floor Drain Cleaning

Floor drains in garages, laundry rooms, and utility spaces are easy to forget until they back up at the worst possible time. In Cedar Park, where many homes have attached garages and finished utility rooms, a blocked floor drain can mean standing water spreading across the floor fast. We clear floor drains and make sure the trap is properly sealed so odors and pests don't come back through the line.

Camera Drain Inspection

Sometimes the only way to know what's really going on inside a drain line is to look at it directly. We run a waterproof inspection camera through the pipe to locate clogs, cracks, root intrusion, or collapsed sections with precision. For Cedar Park homeowners dealing with repeat backups or buying a home in an established neighborhood, a camera inspection takes the guesswork out of the diagnosis.

Emergency Drain Cleaning

A completely blocked drain doesn't wait for a convenient time, and neither do we. If your sink or toilet is backing up and water has nowhere to go, we offer emergency drain cleaning service to Cedar Park homeowners so the problem gets handled before it causes water damage. Call us anytime and we'll get a tech out to you fast.

Sewer Line Replacement

When a drain cleaning reveals damage that goes beyond a clog, a full or partial sewer line replacement may be the right long-term solution. Cedar Park homes built in the late 1990s and early 2000s are reaching the age where original sewer lines begin to show serious wear. We handle sewer line replacement with minimal disruption to your yard and give you a durable fix that lasts for decades.

We Know Cedar Park Homes

Cedar Park has grown so fast that you can find a home built in 1998 right down the street from one that closed escrow last year. The older homes in established neighborhoods like Buttercup Creek and Forest Oaks often have drain systems that have never been professionally cleaned, and years of Cedar Park's hard, mineral-rich water leave a stubborn scale buildup inside the pipes that contributes to slow drains and frequent clogs. We know what those systems look like and what they need to perform reliably.

Newer construction in Cedar Park brings its own set of considerations. Builder-grade drain lines and fittings can be inconsistent, and in high-density family neighborhoods, those systems get put to work hard from day one. We've worked throughout Cedar Park long enough to recognize the patterns specific to this community, from the subdivisions off Brushy Creek Road to the growth corridors near 183A, and that experience means we can diagnose and fix drain issues efficiently without unnecessary guesswork.

We contacted Cold is on the Right today with an urgent plumbing need. Their very professional and organized crew arrived within 30 minutes and fixed our issue. We called five other plumbing companies before them and no one was able to help us. Cold is on the Right will now be the first plumbers we call.

We called due to slow drainage and apparently main line backing up into master bathroom shower and sink. There is an automated line that takes your information and apparently works very well. Plumbers Billy and Jeremy showed up promptly after we were informed they were being dispatched this morning, they stayed and worked until the problem was solved and advised on possible future repairs that would need to be done. They were professional, smart, respectful of our home, and efficient in their actions. Let us know what things would cost and were honest in their assessment of what would be needed next and how (un) likely our homeowners insurance would be able to help.  I appreciate the service and the fair treatment by these gentlemen. Thank you.

Santiago and Kyle were amazing during our total HVAC system replacement. Kind, informative, knowledgeable and careful to ensure a smooth install. They were efficient and got my AC working before my family arrived for spring break. Now enjoying the cool air with family. Great pricing and quick turn around from quote to finished job. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing HVCA or plumbing work.

These guys are prompt and very polite, and explain your options well without trying to upsell. We thought we needed three things replaced, but they showed us that one of the three just needed an adjustment rather than a replacement. Wonderful service!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does drain cleaning cost in Cedar Park?
Drain cleaning costs in Cedar Park typically range from about $150 to $350 for a standard clog in a single fixture like a sink, tub, or toilet. Main line cleaning or hydro-jetting runs higher, usually in the $300 to $600 range depending on the length of the line and severity of the buildup. If a camera inspection is needed to diagnose a recurring issue, that adds to the cost but often saves money by avoiding unnecessary work. We always provide upfront pricing before we start so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
Why do my drains keep clogging even after I've cleared them?
Recurring clogs usually mean the original blockage was never fully cleared, or there's an underlying condition inside the pipe causing buildup to return quickly. In Cedar Park, hard water mineral deposits are a major contributor because they narrow the pipe interior and give grease and debris something to cling to. Tree root intrusion in older neighborhood sewer lines is another common culprit that a basic drain snake won't fix. A camera inspection can identify exactly what's causing the pattern so we can address the root cause rather than just clearing it out again.
Is it safe to use chemical drain cleaners on my pipes?
Chemical drain cleaners can dissolve minor organic clogs but they come with real trade-offs. The caustic chemicals generate heat inside the pipe and can weaken or warp older PVC fittings, and they won't touch mineral scale or root intrusion at all. In Cedar Park homes with hard water, those chemicals can also react with existing scale deposits and create a worse partial blockage further down the line. For anything beyond a very minor slow drain, a professional snake or hydro-jet is a safer and more effective solution that won't risk pipe damage.
How long does a professional drain cleaning take?
Most single-fixture drain cleanings take between 30 and 60 minutes from the time the technician arrives. Main line cleaning or hydro-jetting typically takes one to two hours depending on the length and condition of the line. If we find something unexpected during the service, like a damaged section of pipe or a significant root intrusion, we'll walk you through what we found and what the options are before doing any additional work. Most homeowners in Cedar Park are back to normal the same day.
What's the difference between drain cleaning and sewer line cleaning?
Drain cleaning addresses the branch lines inside your home that connect individual fixtures to the main drain stack. Sewer line cleaning goes further and clears the main line that runs from your home out to the municipal sewer connection under the street. If only one fixture is affected, it's usually a branch drain issue. When multiple fixtures back up at the same time or you notice slow draining throughout the whole house, the problem is more likely in the main sewer line. Cedar Park homes built in the early 2000s are reaching the age where sewer line cleaning or inspection becomes a smart preventive step.
