About Our Commercial Plumbing Services in Dripping Springs

Commercial plumbing in Dripping Springs isn't the same as commercial plumbing in downtown Austin. Many local businesses sit on properties with well water supplies, shared septic systems, or aging infrastructure that hasn't been updated since the original build. Whether you're running a restaurant on US-290, a winery out on Hamilton Pool Road, or a professional office near the Belterra Village corridor, your facility's plumbing system has to perform consistently. Cold is on the Right has the equipment and experience to handle commercial plumbing projects of all sizes in this community, from leak repairs and drain clearing to full fixture installations and water heater replacements.

We know that Dripping Springs businesses can't always afford to wait two days for a service window. Distance matters out here, and downtime costs real money. Our team comes prepared, communicates clearly about what we find, and gives you honest options before any work begins. No inflated estimates, no unnecessary upsells. Just dependable commercial plumbing service from a licensed team that takes Hill Country business seriously.

Commercial Plumbing Services We Provide in Dripping Springs

Commercial Drain Cleaning

Grease buildup, root intrusion, and sediment from well water can all bring a commercial drain system to a halt. We use professional-grade equipment to clear blockages and restore full flow to your facility's drainage lines. For Dripping Springs businesses on well systems, we pay close attention to mineral deposits that accelerate buildup inside drain pipes.

Commercial Water Heater Installation and Replacement

Consistent hot water is non-negotiable for restaurants, salons, medical offices, and other commercial facilities. We install and replace commercial water heaters sized appropriately for your building's demand, whether you're on municipal supply or a private well. Hard Hill Country water can shorten water heater lifespan significantly, so we factor that into every recommendation we make.

Commercial Plumbing Repairs

A leaking supply line, a failed valve, or a cracked pipe fitting can disrupt an entire workday. Our licensed plumbers diagnose and repair commercial plumbing problems quickly, with clear communication about what went wrong and what it will cost to fix it. We carry parts for a wide range of commercial systems so we're not making multiple trips to solve a single problem.

Sewer Line Service and Replacement

Many Dripping Springs commercial properties rely on septic systems rather than municipal sewer connections. When sewer lines show signs of failure — slow drainage, sewage odors, or soggy ground near the drain field — the problem needs to be addressed before it escalates. We inspect, repair, and replace commercial sewer lines and can work alongside septic professionals when a full system assessment is needed.

Emergency Commercial Plumbing

A burst pipe or sewage backup doesn't wait for business hours, and out here in the Hill Country, you can't always rely on a nearby competitor to show up fast. Cold is on the Right offers emergency commercial plumbing service for Dripping Springs businesses when time is critical. We prioritize minimizing disruption and getting your facility back to operational as quickly as possible.

Gas Line Installation and Repair

Propane and natural gas lines serve kitchens, heating systems, and commercial equipment throughout Dripping Springs. Whether you're adding a gas appliance, expanding your kitchen layout, or dealing with a suspected leak, our licensed team handles gas line work safely and to code. We take no shortcuts on gas work — the stakes are too high.

Commercial Fixture Installation and Replacement

From restroom fixtures to commercial sinks and utility connections, we install and replace plumbing fixtures across all types of commercial properties. We source durable fixtures appropriate for high-use environments and ensure every installation meets current code requirements. Businesses in Dripping Springs upgrading or renovating their facilities can count on us for efficient, professional fixture work.

Water Filtration and Treatment for Commercial Properties

Well water in the Dripping Springs area is common, and it often comes with high mineral content, hardness, and other quality concerns that affect plumbing equipment and the customer experience. We install commercial-grade water filtration and softening systems to protect your pipes, fixtures, and appliances from scale buildup and extend the life of your entire plumbing system.

Backflow Prevention and Testing

Businesses connected to municipal water in Dripping Springs are required to have backflow prevention devices tested regularly to protect the public water supply. We perform backflow testing, certification, and device replacement to keep your business in compliance. If your facility has been operating without a current backflow inspection, now is the time to get it on the calendar.

Commercial Toilet Repair and Replacement

High-traffic restrooms in restaurants, breweries, retail spaces, and offices take a beating. We repair and replace commercial toilets, flush valves, and related components quickly to minimize downtime in your facility. When a toilet is constantly running or failing to flush properly, it drives up your water bill and signals a problem that won't fix itself.

Pipe Inspections and Repiping

Older commercial buildings in Dripping Springs may still have galvanized or aging copper pipe systems showing signs of corrosion and reduced water pressure. We use camera inspection tools to assess the condition of your commercial pipe infrastructure and provide honest recommendations on whether targeted repairs or a full repipe makes more financial sense long term.

We Know Dripping Springs Homes

The commercial properties out here in Dripping Springs range from purpose-built structures near the 290 corridor to converted ranch buildings and custom facilities on larger acreage tracts. A lot of them were built during the rapid growth this area saw in the 2000s and 2010s, which means plumbing systems are hitting that age where original fixtures, water heaters, and supply lines start to show wear. On top of that, well water is the norm rather than the exception for many properties, and the mineral content in this part of the Hill Country is hard on pipes, water heaters, and filtration systems alike.

We've worked on commercial buildings throughout the Dripping Springs area long enough to know what to expect before we arrive. Septic connections require a different approach than municipal sewer, propane lines are more common here than in central Austin, and properties set back from the main roads sometimes have infrastructure quirks that catch out-of-area crews off guard. That local knowledge means fewer surprises for you and faster, more accurate work from us.

High Fives from Austin Homeowners

Graysen and Andrew from Cold is on the Right came out just a couple hours after I called and took care of cutting out my kitchen faucet. They were professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable, explaining everything in a straightforward way without any upselling or confusion. It was refreshing to get honest answers and excellent service so quickly. I’ll definitely be using them again for future plumbing needs.

We contacted Cold is on the Right today with an urgent plumbing need. Their very professional and organized crew arrived within 30 minutes and fixed our issue. We called five other plumbing companies before them and no one was able to help us. Cold is on the Right will now be the first plumbers we call.

We called due to slow drainage and apparently main line backing up into master bathroom shower and sink. There is an automated line that takes your information and apparently works very well. Plumbers Billy and Jeremy showed up promptly after we were informed they were being dispatched this morning, they stayed and worked until the problem was solved and advised on possible future repairs that would need to be done. They were professional, smart, respectful of our home, and efficient in their actions. Let us know what things would cost and were honest in their assessment of what would be needed next and how (un) likely our homeowners insurance would be able to help.  I appreciate the service and the fair treatment by these gentlemen. Thank you.

Santiago and Kyle were amazing during our total HVAC system replacement. Kind, informative, knowledgeable and careful to ensure a smooth install. They were efficient and got my AC working before my family arrived for spring break. Now enjoying the cool air with family. Great pricing and quick turn around from quote to finished job. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing HVCA or plumbing work.

These guys are prompt and very polite, and explain your options well without trying to upsell. We thought we needed three things replaced, but they showed us that one of the three just needed an adjustment rather than a replacement. Wonderful service!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you service commercial properties that are on well water in Dripping Springs?
Yes, and it's something we do regularly in the Dripping Springs area. Well-fed commercial properties require a different approach than municipal water connections, particularly when it comes to diagnosing pressure issues, protecting equipment from hard water mineral buildup, and ensuring filtration systems are doing their job. We're familiar with the common well setups used on Hill Country commercial properties and can service, repair, and upgrade the components that feed your building's plumbing system.
Do you service commercial properties that are on well water in Dripping Springs?
The water in the Dripping Springs area is notably hard due to the high mineral content coming through limestone aquifers. Over time, calcium and magnesium deposits build up inside pipes, water heaters, and fixtures, reducing water flow, shortening equipment lifespan, and driving up energy costs as heaters work harder to compensate for scale buildup. For commercial properties, this can mean more frequent water heater replacements and chronic pressure issues that keep recurring until the root cause is addressed. Installing a commercial water softener or filtration system is often the most cost-effective long-term solution.
Can you work on commercial buildings connected to septic systems instead of city sewer?
Absolutely. A significant number of commercial properties in Dripping Springs use septic systems, and we understand how to approach sewer line work and drain service in that context. We inspect and repair the plumbing lines on the building side, and when a job requires evaluation or work on the septic system itself, we can coordinate with licensed septic professionals to make sure nothing gets missed. If you're experiencing slow drains or sewage backups, don't assume it's just a clog — on a septic-connected property, it can signal a more serious issue.
What does commercial plumbing service typically cost in Dripping Springs?
Costs vary depending on the scope of the work. Drain cleaning for a commercial property typically runs a few hundred dollars, while water heater replacements for commercial applications can range from around $1,500 to $5,000 or more depending on unit size and fuel type. Sewer line repairs or repiping projects are scoped individually based on pipe material, length, and access. We always provide a clear written estimate before beginning any work, so there are no surprises on the invoice. The best way to get an accurate number is to call us and describe what you're dealing with.
How quickly can you respond to a commercial plumbing emergency in Dripping Springs?
We offer emergency service for commercial properties in the Dripping Springs area and make it a priority to respond as quickly as conditions allow. We recognize that being 30 or more miles west of Austin means you can't always rely on a nearby contractor to arrive fast. When you call our emergency line, we dispatch based on urgency and do our best to minimize the time your business is impacted. Having our number saved before an emergency happens is always the right move.
Do you handle commercial gas line work for businesses in Dripping Springs?
Yes. Gas line installation and repair is a service we provide for commercial clients throughout the Dripping Springs area. Propane systems are especially common out here, serving commercial kitchens, heating systems, and industrial equipment. Whether you're adding a gas appliance, extending an existing line, or responding to a suspected leak, our licensed plumbers handle gas work safely and in full compliance with code requirements. Gas line work should never be attempted without the proper licensing — the risk to people and property is too significant.
