About Our Sewer Services in Leander

Leander's rapid growth has brought a lot of new construction, and with it, a wave of first-time homeowners who are still learning what their plumbing systems look like. New builds can come with their own set of sewer challenges — improper grading, builder-grade materials, or connections to aging municipal infrastructure that hasn't kept pace with development. Our team knows what to look for, and we come prepared to diagnose problems accurately the first time.

From camera inspections and drain cleaning to full sewer line replacement, we handle every level of sewer service for Leander homes. We use upfront pricing so you always know what you're paying before we start, and we don't believe in recommending more than what your system actually needs. Young families in Leander rely on their plumbing every single day — we take that seriously.

Sewer Services We Provide in Leander

Sewer Line Repair

Cracks, root intrusion, and joint failures can all compromise your sewer line and cause backups throughout your home. We use camera inspection to pinpoint the exact problem, then perform targeted repairs to restore proper flow. For Leander homeowners in newer subdivisions, catching these issues early can prevent expensive damage down the road.

Sewer Line Replacement

When a sewer line is too far gone for repair, full replacement is the right move. We install durable, long-lasting materials that are built to handle the demands of a busy household. Many Leander homes connected to quickly developed infrastructure benefit from a full replacement that gives them a clean, reliable baseline going forward.

Drain Cleaning

Slow or clogged drains are one of the most common calls we get from Leander homeowners, especially in homes with multiple bathrooms and heavy daily use. We use professional-grade equipment to clear blockages completely rather than just pushing them further down the line. Regular drain cleaning also helps extend the life of your entire sewer system.

Sewer Camera Inspection

If you're buying a home in Leander or experiencing recurring plumbing issues, a camera inspection gives you a clear look at what's happening inside your pipes. We send a high-definition camera through your sewer line to identify blockages, cracks, root intrusion, and other problems before they become emergencies. It's one of the smartest investments a new homeowner can make.

Hydro Jetting

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to blast through grease buildup, mineral deposits, and stubborn clogs that standard snaking can't fully remove. It's a highly effective solution for Leander homes where heavy household use has led to persistent drain slowdowns. The process clears your pipes thoroughly and helps prevent future buildup.

Root Intrusion Removal

Tree and shrub roots are naturally attracted to the moisture around sewer lines, and even newer Leander landscaping can cause problems faster than homeowners expect. Root intrusion can crack pipes, restrict flow, and lead to full blockages if left untreated. We remove the roots and assess whether the pipe itself needs repair or replacement.

Emergency Sewer Services

Sewage backups and broken lines don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our team is available for emergency sewer service in Leander when you're dealing with a backup into your home, a foul odor that won't go away, or a soggy yard that signals a broken line. We respond fast and work efficiently to protect your home and family.

Leak Detection

Sewer leaks aren't always visible, and in newer Leander construction they can sometimes trace back to connections made during the building process. We use advanced leak detection tools to locate problems without unnecessary digging or damage to your property. Early detection saves you money and protects the structural integrity of your home.

Learn More

Trenchless Sewer Repair

Trenchless repair methods let us fix or reline your sewer pipe without tearing up your yard, driveway, or landscaping. For Leander homeowners who've invested in new sod, fencing, or hardscaping, this approach minimizes disruption while delivering a durable fix. It's faster, cleaner, and often more cost-effective than traditional excavation.

Sewer Cleanout Installation

Many older and even some newer Leander homes are missing an accessible sewer cleanout, which makes it harder to diagnose and clear blockages efficiently. We install cleanouts at the right access points so future service calls are quicker and less invasive. It's a small upgrade that saves significant time and money over the life of your system.

Whole House Repiping

If your Leander home has widespread pipe issues — whether from builder-grade materials that are already showing wear or a system that simply wasn't installed correctly — a full repipe may be the most practical long-term solution. We assess your entire plumbing system and replace it with reliable materials designed to last. It's a significant investment that pays off in water quality, pressure, and peace of mind.

We Know Leander Homes

Most of Leander's housing stock is relatively new, built within the last decade or two as the area exploded in population. That means a lot of homes with builder-grade plumbing materials that looked fine at move-in but are already showing early signs of wear. New construction doesn't always mean problem-free, and we've seen our share of Leander homes with improper sewer grading, undersized lines, or connections to infrastructure that wasn't quite ready for the neighborhood density that followed.

We also know that many Leander homeowners are buying their first house and haven't had to think about sewer lines before. Part of our job is helping you understand what you actually have, what to watch for, and when to call. Leander is a community full of young families who need reliable plumbing they can count on — and we take pride in being the team they call first.

Graysen and Andrew from Cold is on the Right came out just a couple hours after I called and took care of cutting out my kitchen faucet. We contacted Cold is on the Right today with an urgent plumbing need. Their very professional and organized crew arrived within 30 minutes and fixed our issue. We called five other plumbing companies before them and no one was able to help us. Cold is on the Right will now be the first plumbers we call.

We called due to slow drainage and apparently main line backing up into master bathroom shower and sink. There is an automated line that takes your information and apparently works very well. Plumbers Billy and Jeremy showed up promptly after we were informed they were being dispatched this morning, they stayed and worked until the problem was solved and advised on possible future repairs that would need to be done. They were professional, smart, respectful of our home, and efficient in their actions. Let us know what things would cost and were honest in their assessment of what would be needed next and how (un) likely our homeowners insurance would be able to help.  I appreciate the service and the fair treatment by these gentlemen. Thank you.

Santiago and Kyle were amazing during our total HVAC system replacement. Kind, informative, knowledgeable and careful to ensure a smooth install. They were efficient and got my AC working before my family arrived for spring break. Now enjoying the cool air with family. Great pricing and quick turn around from quote to finished job. Thank you! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone needing HVCA or plumbing work.

These guys are prompt and very polite, and explain your options well without trying to upsell. We thought we needed three things replaced, but they showed us that one of the three just needed an adjustment rather than a replacement. Wonderful service!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my Leander home needs a sewer line repair or a full replacement?
It depends on the extent and type of damage. Minor cracks, small root intrusions, or isolated joint failures can often be repaired without replacing the entire line. But if your pipe has multiple problem areas, has collapsed in a section, or is made from builder-grade material that's deteriorating broadly, replacement is usually more cost-effective long term. A camera inspection is the best way to make that call with confidence — it gives us a clear picture of what's actually happening inside the pipe rather than guessing from symptoms alone. Most Leander homeowners are surprised by what the camera reveals.
My new construction home in Leander is only a few years old. Can sewer problems really happen that quickly?
Yes, unfortunately they can. New construction doesn't automatically mean problem-free plumbing. We've seen Leander homes with improper sewer line grading, connections that weren't fully sealed, or builder-grade pipe materials that start showing wear earlier than expected. Heavy household use, settlement of the ground around new construction, and the pace at which some developments were built can all contribute to early issues. If you've been in your home a few years and are noticing slow drains or recurring clogs, it's worth having an inspection done rather than assuming the system is fine just because the home is new.
What does a sewer camera inspection cost, and is it worth it?
Camera inspection costs vary based on line length and accessibility, but they typically run in the range of $150 to $300 in most cases. For new homebuyers or anyone dealing with recurring plumbing issues, it's absolutely worth it. The inspection gives you a real-time video look at the condition of your sewer line so you know exactly what you're dealing with. It can confirm that everything is fine and give you peace of mind, or it can catch a problem early before it becomes a $5,000 emergency. We provide clear findings and go over the results with you so you understand what we found.
How long does a sewer line replacement take in Leander?
A typical residential sewer line replacement takes one to two days depending on the length of the line, the method used, and how accessible the pipe is. Trenchless methods can sometimes be completed faster with less disruption to your yard. Traditional excavation may take longer but is sometimes the right call depending on the situation. We'll give you a realistic timeline before work starts so you can plan accordingly. Most Leander homeowners are back to normal plumbing function by the end of the job.
What causes sewer lines to back up in Leander homes specifically?
The most common causes we see in Leander are root intrusion from young trees and landscaping growing near sewer lines, grease and debris buildup from heavy household use, and in some newer homes, grading issues that cause slow flow and sediment buildup over time. Hard water in this part of Central Texas can also contribute to mineral scaling inside pipes. Large households with multiple people using plumbing simultaneously put more demand on the system than it sometimes was designed to handle. Regular drain cleaning and occasional inspections go a long way toward preventing major backups.
Is sewer line work covered by homeowners insurance?
Standard homeowners insurance policies typically do not cover sewer line repair or replacement unless the damage was caused by a sudden, covered event like a vehicle striking the line or certain types of collapse. Gradual deterioration, root intrusion, and age-related failure are usually excluded. Some insurers offer a sewer line rider or service line protection as an optional add-on, so it's worth reviewing your policy and asking your insurance agent. We can document the cause and condition of the damage with our camera footage, which can be helpful if you do have a claim to file.
